About Us

Preschool Partners is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization formed in 2004.

We recognize the need for all families with young children to have access to high quality, affordable, convenient child care services and preschool opportunities.

The mission of Preschool Partners is to assist parents in finding their child's best placement for preschool education and care... and to assist early care and education providers in building programs of the highest quality.

Preschool Partners can receive donations through the United Way. Our designation ID# is 6859.

The founders, board of directors, volunteers and staff are all long-time residents of the Virginia Peninsula. We are parents, grandparents, business people, educators...but most of all we are folks who care about the future of our children. We believe that every child in our community should have the opportunity to build a strong foundation for learning. We are encouraged by Governor Kaine's agenda for Virginia's youngest children, and are committed to play a leading role in local collaboration to ensure that every child has a Smart Beginning.
